The purple roses  hybrid tea variety originated from a cross-breed between two types of roses. Its shrubs tend to stand really straight and can reach up to 1.8 meters tall. Most of these types of purple roses do not contain any scent and often find it hard to grow in gardens because of its sensitivity to cold temperatures. Examples of these kinds are Angel Face, Blue Moon, Fragrant Plum, Lady X and Moon Shadow.

Purple climbing roses are very appealing types of purple roses because of their crawling feature. This type can be used to beautify fences and rails. Unlike the first type, these flowers are fragrant but would need lots of extra attention in order to last longer. The popular types of these roses are Veilhenblau, Violetta and Mosel.

This type of purple roses belongs to the family of the original roses. They were raised in small sizes which makes them perfect for garden decoration.
